Daya Saing Produk Melalui Pelatihan Harga Pokok Produk Bank Sampah Raziq Damai Bersih Pekanbaru

Proper knowledge and understanding of how to publish research results in reputable scientific journals are valuable insights for academics (lecturers). This service aims to increase the knowledge and understanding of lecturers regarding this matter. In particular, our servants have visited the Raziq Damai Bersih Waste Bank on March 5, 2021, where the waste bank is located in Lembah Damai Village, Rumbai District, Pekanbaru City. Based on the results of our interview with the head of the waste bank, Mrs. Azniwati, we got information that this waste bank has not been established for 1 year but the waste bank management has accepted the community to save waste. It's just that the waste has not been processed into products, for that the PKM Fekon team collaborates with LPPM and partners, namely the manager of the Abadi Berkah Waste Bank who provides training on processing organic waste (into compost) and processing inorganic waste (into household products). PKM Fekon provides training on the cost of products for the products that will be produced by them later, so that the Raziq Damai Bersih Waste Bank managers get complete knowledge from this series of activities (skills to process waste into selling value products, as well as gain knowledge in calculating the cost of products). The price is very decisive in terms of selling goods, including how to calculate a proper cost of goods so that the sale of these products does not cause losses. For this reason, the Unilak APBF PKM team intends to help the Raziq Damai Bersih waste bank manager to calculate an effective product cost price so that the waste bank business and business can generate decent profits, namely through training in calculating the cost of goods sold. Those who have competencies related to the training are accounting lecturers. The team carried out practice and simulations with all participants to make this training more effective and beneficial for the management of the Raziq Damai Bersih waste bank. The results of this service activity found that the manager of the Raziq Damai Bersih Waste Bank at first did not understand well how to calculate the cost of products, but when given the knowledge, assistance and practice of calculating the cost of goods (simulation of the cost of the product produced during the activity) finally the manager This garbage bank is starting to understand.
